A Christian Minecraft Community,Not Just a Server Address

Living Stone Network is a whitelisted Christian Minecraft server network for Java and Bedrock players. Faith shapes how people are treated here. Minecraft is the hobby we happen to share.

“Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.”
1 Peter 2:5, KJV

Ordinary stones, set together into something none of them could be alone. That image gave the network its name.

What the word Christian means on this network

A lot of servers list themselves as Christian and leave it at that. Here it is meant to describe how the place is actually run. The community covenant, the way staff handle reports, the tone in chat, and the expectations placed on every player all come from the same convictions: honesty, patience, kindness, and treating other players as people rather than obstacles.

Most evenings on the network look like any other survival server. Someone is terraforming a hillside, someone else is arguing about redstone timing, and a third player is hauling shulkers of cobblestone back to spawn. What changes is the atmosphere around all of it. Chat stays clean, disagreements get resolved instead of ignored, and nobody has to brace for the usual multiplayer hostility before they log in.

We are not a church and we are not trying to be one. Living Stone Network is a gaming community shaped by Christian values, run by people who think those values are worth applying to a Minecraft server as much as anywhere else.

Faith here, without the pressure

You do not have to be a Christian to play. Plenty of players arrive because they wanted a calmer server and stayed because they liked the people. Nobody is quizzed on belief at the whitelist step, and nothing in the gameplay depends on your answers.

For players who do want that side of community life, Discord carries it: a space for prayer requests, encouragement when someone is having a hard week, and conversation that goes beyond the game. It is there when you want it and easy to leave alone when you do not. The network also does not sell spiritual titles as ranks, because those words carry real meaning and are not merchandise.

How that shows up day to day

Values are easy to write on a page. These are the parts players actually notice.

A covenant, not a loophole hunt

Six short rules written in plain language. Staff enforce the spirit of them, so nobody gets to argue that a technicality made cruelty acceptable.

Clean chat is the baseline

Profanity, crude jokes, and sexual content are out of bounds in game and on Discord. It is a standard everyone signs up for, not a filter people work around.

Conflict gets handled

Reports go to staff through Discord rather than turning into public arguments. Decisions can be appealed, and staff are held to the same covenant as players.

Whitelisted membership

Every player joins through Discord and gets whitelisted by our bot. That single step filters out most of the drive-by trouble other public servers deal with.

Nothing important is for sale

No pay-to-win advantages. The optional Beacon supporter rank is cosmetic only, and spiritual titles are never sold as ranks.

Community that outlasts a season

Build nights, competitions, shared projects, and a Discord where people actually talk. The goal is a place worth returning to years from now.

Where to start

Foundation SMP is the front door. It is the main survival world, open to Java and Bedrock players, with land claiming, player shops, and community projects that have been growing for a while now. Most people who join the network end up there first and branch out later.

From there the network opens up. Java/Bedrock Citadel is pure vanilla on Hard difficulty for players who want Minecraft without the safety rails. Artisan Creative offers personal plots and a shared open world for building without survival pressure. The Builder's Forge and Sojourner Realms run whitelisted modded packs for players who want deeper progression.

Who tends to fit here

The community skews toward adults and older players who want long-term worlds and conversation that does not devolve. Families are part of it too, and parents regularly ask how conduct is handled before their kids join. Both of those groups get the same answer, because there is one covenant across the whole network.

What we ask for is straightforward: play honestly, treat people well, keep it clean, and bring problems to staff instead of to the public chat. Players who cannot work within that do not last long here, and that is deliberate.
