If you are deciding whether a Minecraft community is a reasonable place for your family, you deserve a straight answer rather than marketing. Here is how Living Stone Network is run, what we enforce, and what no server can honestly promise.
What the network does control
Living Stone Network is a whitelisted Christian Minecraft network. Nobody arrives by accident. Players join the Discord, complete a bot whitelist step, and agree to a published community covenant before they set a single block. That covenant is short, written in plain language, and available for you to read before your family joins.
Inside those boundaries, the standards are specific rather than vague. Clean language in game and on Discord. No harassment, slurs, or targeted drama. No sexual or graphically violent content in chat, builds, or signs. Clean usernames and skins. No griefing or stealing. Staff enforce those consistently, and staff are held to the same covenant as everyone else.
Where the honest limits are
No server can promise that every conversation will be appropriate, and any server that does is asking you to trust something it cannot deliver. Staff are not present in every voice channel and do not read private messages between players. Moderation works on what is visible in community spaces and on what gets reported.
That is why reporting matters so much here. When something is brought to staff, it gets reviewed against the covenant and acted on. The community is small enough and intentional enough that problems surface quickly, but it works because players speak up rather than because surveillance is total.
For younger players, the same advice applies here as anywhere online. Stay in community channels, keep personal information private, and tell a parent or a staff member when something feels wrong.

A community, not a supervised playground
Living Stone Network is openly Christian, and that shapes what is expected of everyone here rather than only of the youngest players. Adults on the network are held to the same covenant, which is a large part of why the atmosphere works for families in the first place. Kindness, honesty, and patience are the standard for the whole community.

Questions Parents Ask
- Is Living Stone Network safe for younger players?
- It is built to be a clean, respectful environment, and conduct is taken seriously. No online community can guarantee that every interaction will be appropriate, and we will not claim otherwise. What we can describe is the standard: published rules, whitelisted access, clean chat expectations, and staff who act on reports.
- What age is required to join?
- Whitelisting runs through Discord, so every player needs a Discord account and must meet the minimum age Discord requires in their country. There is no separate age gate beyond that. Conduct expectations are the same for every player.
- Is voice chat monitored?
- No. Staff do not sit in voice channels listening to conversations, and we do not claim to. Voice conversations are governed by the same community covenant, and anything that violates it can be reported to staff.
- Can staff read private messages?
- Direct messages between players on Discord are private and are not monitored by staff. If your child receives something inappropriate in a private message, save it and report it. Staff can act on reported behavior within the community.
- How do I report a problem?
- Reports go through the appropriate channels in the Living Stone Network Discord, or through the contact page. Staff review reports against the community covenant, and there is a formal appeal process for decisions.
- Is there anything to buy that pressures kids to spend?
- No. The network does not sell gameplay advantages. The optional Beacon supporter rank is cosmetic only, so no player is at a disadvantage for spending nothing.
- What is expected of players in chat and in builds?
- Clean language, no harassment or slurs, no sexual or graphically violent content in chat, builds, or signs, and clean usernames and skins. Griefing and stealing are treated as serious violations.
