Joining - Frequently Asked Questions
- Why is the server whitelisted?
- The whitelist keeps the community intentional and trustworthy. By requiring Discord membership before joining, we can ensure everyone knows the rules and the community stays clean and respectful. This is the primary way the network maintains its standards.
- Can Bedrock players join?
- Yes. Bedrock Edition players connect to br.livingstonemc.com on port 50101. After completing the bot whitelist process through Discord, Bedrock players can join just like Java players.
- Do I need Discord?
- Yes, a Discord account is required. When you first attempt to connect to the server, the game displays a code - you message that code to our Discord bot to get whitelisted automatically. Discord is also where community life, announcements, events, and player support happen.
- What happens if I am not whitelisted?
- When you first connect, the server will display a code and instruct you to message our Discord bot with it. Send the bot that code and you will be whitelisted automatically. You must complete that step before connecting normally.
- Is this a clean and well-moderated server?
- Yes. Clean chat, respectful conduct, and active staff moderation are enforced consistently. Living Stone Network is a clean, actively moderated Christian Minecraft community. Players are expected to respect the community covenant.
